Open Knowledge Nepal (OKN) is a Kathmandu-based civic technology organization working at the intersection of open data, governance, and public infrastructure.

This Platform

The OKN Urban Intelligence Layer makes ward-level climate and disaster risk visible across Kathmandu Valley — starting with flood, earthquake, and air quality data covering all 247 wards. SmartHousing Nepal is its first application, built for the Habitat for Humanity Youth Solutions program.
