Urban Atlas Nepal is built and maintained by Open Knowledge Nepal (OKN), a Kathmandu-based civic technology organization.
We're especially interested in hearing from:
Municipal planners and government agencies with local risk or infrastructure data
Researchers and academics working on urban risk in Nepal
NGOs and development partners working on related civic data projects
Anyone who’s found an error or gap in current ward data
OKN has spent over four years building civic technology infrastructure in Nepal, including IDMS (deployed across five municipalities), Open Data Nepal, and multilingual civic data tools. Urban Atlas Nepal continues that work, applied to urban risk.
